Buddhafield East

A Buddhafield (in Sanskrit 'Buddha-ksetra, also traslates as Buddha land or Buddha country) is a realm created by the skillful action of a Buddha, where the conditions are perfect for the spiritual development of it's inhabitants. It is the positive sphere of influence of an enlightened being.

In one's own experience it is the positive sphere of influence created by our own efforts to continually develop kindness and awareness, in body speech and mind.

When we come together with others on retreat, it is the positive sphere of influence created by our collective and individual efforts to continually cultivate kindness and awareness, in body, speech and mind.

Buddhafield East is a non-profit organistion.
